Hi Lovely,
Have you ever had those days where you feel like you don’t know anything about anything? Let’s talk for a moment. Most of us are experts in something or at the very least, we know something about a lot of things. When we become experts or semi-knowledgeable about the people or places around us, it becomes easy to know what to expect as long as we stay in our comfort zone.
When you step outside of your comfort zone, things began to feel shaky and you can start to feel unsure about yourself or many things…but that is expected in many ways. You know what isn’t expected: when the people and places and things you thought you knew become unknowable or unpredictable.
Lovelies, when you wake up on those opposite days where the known, the stable, and the predictable have flipped the script on you and you feel like you don’t know anything about anything, the best thing you can do is draw close to the One who knows everything.
Yes, you’ve probably heard this before, but the fact is sometimes there is absolutely nothing you can do to change those days. You can’t out-think it, outrun it, out-perform it, out-argue it, or out-wrestle that day, circumstance, situation. On those type of days or seasons (because sometimes they last more than one day), the only thing, THE BEST THING, you can do is over-surrender it to the God who sees all and knows all from the beginning to the end.

Genesis 21:6
When reading the Bible, there seems to be little evidence of direct interaction between God and Sarah (Abraham’s wife). Yet in circumstance after circumstance, this beautiful picture begins to emerge of just how much God placed preference and favor on Sarah and how much she knew it. In fact, Sarah definitely fits the description of a Daddy’s girl.
Can you think of a time when God had made you laugh?
